Overview
The Micro-Habit Builder for Stressed Students helps stressed students build tiny, easy habits that make daily life feel calmer. Instead of big routines, it focuses on one small habit at a time, like drinking water, stretching for a few seconds, or writing one sentence.
Students check in quickly, track their mood, and get gentle reminders that don’t feel overwhelming. The app uses calming visuals and supportive messages to help students feel encouraged, not pressured.
It’s a simple, soothing tool that helps students take small steps toward feeling better every day.
Mission
Steady — Micro-Habit Builder for Stressed Students
What we're building
A gentle web app where stressed students build one micro-habit at a time — one tiny habit per week, a soft daily check-in, and encouragement that never punishes. The whole point is reducing overwhelm, not adding a task.
Current focus (MVP)
A first working version a student can actually click through on our live site:
- Pick one micro-habit per week — a curated library of tiny, low-effort habits (a breath, a stretch, one glass of water), or write your own.
- Daily check-in — "Did you do it?" (yes / partly / not today), "How did it feel?" (tired, anxious, okay, calm…), and a soft 1–5 stress level.
- Mood-linked suggestions — if they log tired, suggest a tiny rest habit; if anxious, grounding or breathing.
