It replaces the cost of a full-time security officer with an AI-powered platform that assesses risk, generates customized policies, trains employees, tracks remediation, and produces executive reports — all with strict tenant isolation, role-based access, and clear disclaimers.

Setup

Review the README, architecture documents, database schema, security documentation, and known limitations before deployment.
Create separate development, staging, and production environments. Do not deploy directly to production before completing security and functionality testing.
Install the required Node.js version and project dependencies using the package manager identified in the repository.
Create a PostgreSQL database and add the database connection string to the deployment platform’s encrypted environment-variable system.
Configure the authentication provider, transactional email provider, secure file storage provider, error monitoring service, and approved AI model provider.
Create a Stripe account and configure Stripe test-mode API keys, subscription products, prices, customer portal, and webhook endpoints. Do not use live billing until all payment flows have been tested.
Copy the provided environment variable example file and enter the required credentials via secure secret management. Never commit API keys, passwords, database credentials, .env files, or payment secrets to source control.
Run the database migrations and optional fictional demonstration-data seed. Verify that all demonstration records are clearly identified as fictional.
Configure the authorized domain, application URL, email-sending domain, storage permissions, rate limits, security headers, backups, and monitoring.
Run all unit, integration, end-to-end, tenant-isolation, authorization, file-upload, billing, and security tests before launch.
Replace temporary logos, contact information, legal placeholders, and branding with the buyer’s approved information. Privacy policies, terms, professional-service agreements, and compliance-related language require qualified legal review.
Confirm that consultants can access only organizations that explicitly authorize them and that one customer cannot view another customer’s information.
Begin with Stripe test mode and a staging deployment. Move to production only after critical tests pass, and backups, monitoring, incident response, and recovery procedures are working.
