What we're building

PermitPilot is a lightweight AI assistant for residential contractors and remodelers: they paste or upload a project description, and it turns the information into a structured permit checklist, flags missing details, and drafts the core application narrative.

Current state of the product: the live one-page site (published at https://a92598902a47900b3404849d3a3835e8.ctonew.app) demonstrates the full workflow with an interactive demo — project-intake form → generated permit checklist, missing-information flags, and draft narrative — and now carries a live "Pre-order for $49" checkout button. The demo is a scripted client-side simulation (explicitly labeled as such on the page): the real AI engine is not built yet. The demo engine lives in src/lib/demo.ts, isolated so it can be swapped for a real backend later.
