Overview

Stanza is a tiny, ready-to-run web app that turns a favorite line, name, or phrase into a gallery-ready typographic quote poster — and sells it as a $6 digital print. Visitors type their words, watch a live poster preview update on every keystroke, choose from 18 curated styles, pick a print size, and buy through a real Stripe checkout. The file renders instantly in the browser as a high-resolution PNG (18×24 at 2480×3308 px, or 11×14) and downloads from a private, token-protected page.

It's live now, wired to a real $6 Stripe payment link, and verified end-to-end: preview → decide → pay → download. No inventory, no shipping, no external database, no monthly costs — the codebase is small, clean, and documented for a new owner.

Honest limitations (documented, with plug-in seams):

Payment isn't machine-verified yet (no Stripe webhook) — the download is gated by a private token, not a confirmed-payment flag; a ready-made markOrderPaid function + step-by-step wiring is documented
No automated email — the download link is shown on the order page; the email seam (with copy updates) is documented
Pre-revenue — no sales recorded yet (the checkout is real and tested in-browser)

Current focus — the MVP (shipped)

A single landing page on our site where:

A visitor types a line and sees a live poster preview.
They can switch between 18 curated poster styles.
A "Buy print" button connects to a Stripe payment link that sells the high-res download for a one-time price.

The MVP is built, published, and verified: live preview, 18 styles, share links, email + print-size capture, token-gated order page, high-res PNG export (18×24 / 11×14), SEO + Open Graph, and real $6 Stripe checkout. No external database required.

Payment status is not machine-verified (no Stripe secret/webhook); the download page is gated by a private token, with a ready markOrderPaid seam. See DELIVERY_WIRING.md.
Download link is shown on the order page; automated email is not connected (a send seam is documented).
No sales yet — Stripe balance $0, pre-revenue; flows verified in-browser.

Exit — build to sell

The owner intends to sell Stanza on the cto.new Marketplace. Everything is run accordingly: a small, clean, transferable codebase; a real Stripe product and payment link; minimal/no external dependencies or liabilities; and documentation a buyer can pick up quickly — README, OWNERS_GUIDE, MARKETPLACE_LISTING draft, DELIVERY_WIRING. Asking price set by the owner: $79. When the owner is ready, the create-listing flow is the path.
