Overview
This is a simple and useful client relationship managing service, great for a business owner. You can also outsource it to other people for them to use it and charge them monthly for it.
Mission
Clearline CRM
Status: owner-ratified 2026-09-29. The sections below reflect the owner's confirmed direction (solo-consultant buyer, $29/month subscription), not the team's working guess.
What we're building
A clean, self-explanatory web CRM — contacts, companies, and an engagements pipeline — where a new user can log in and understand the whole thing in about two minutes, with no walkthrough, no training call, and no manual.
Who it's for
The first buyer is a solo consultant (owner decision, 2026-09-29): one person running a practice, no team seats, no admin, no IT. Everything below is shaped around them — the fields they actually use, and a sample book of business that looks like theirs so the demo sells itself.
What that means concretely:
- Their "contacts" are clients and prospects — the person who owns the relationship at each client company (founder, ops manager, marketing lead), not a big sales org's contact matrix.
- Their "deals" are engagements — a project, a retainer, or a piece of advisory work, worth a few thousand to a few tens of thousands, not $500k enterprise deals.
- Follow-ups are the whole job, so a next-action date and where the work came from (referral, repeat client, inbound) matter more than team reporting.
