Overview
Northstar Personal AI is a private-by-default personal and work assistant that helps you stay on top of your everyday tasks and commitments. You decide which categories of information it can see, and in return it gives you transparent, editable suggestions with the reasoning behind each one—nothing happens until you review and approve. Over time it learns how you like to handle things by watching the choices you actually make, so it becomes two things at once: an assistant that recommends and manages your personal life—travel, vacations, meals, workouts—and a domain-expert chief of staff for your work that knows your judgment well enough to make the call you'd make. Think of it as a calm command center for your commitments that respects your privacy from day one.

What we're building
A private-by-default personal AI that helps one person understand and manage everyday commitments, using only explicitly permitted information categories and showing the sources and reasoning behind suggestions. The foundation will be designed to grow into a spatially aware personal assistant and, later, profession-specific chief-of-staff modules.
Current focus
Build the first clickable MVP: a calm personal command center where the user can define permitted data categories, capture a task or commitment, and receive a transparent, editable suggested next action with a clear approval boundary. This is an intent for the first working version—not a promise of the full assistant yet.
