ReplyCraft is a complete, production-ready micro-SaaS that turns customer reviews into professional replies in seconds. A local business pastes a review, picks 1–5 stars and a tone (Professional, Friendly, Warm, Appreciative, Apologetic, Firm but Professional, Short & Simple), optionally adds business context, and gets a brand-safe reply they can edit, regenerate, copy, and save.

What's built and working:
• Full SaaS site (TanStack Start / React / Tailwind): homepage, pricing, FAQ, generator, dashboard with saved reply history, account settings
• Secure accounts: email+password auth (bcrypt, DB sessions), email verification, password reset
• AI reply generator with server-side usage limits (Free: 3 replies/month; Pro: $9/month, 50 replies) and rate limiting — enforced server-side, atomically
• Stripe subscriptions: Checkout + Customer Portal, with Pro granted or revoked ONLY by signature-verified webhook events — never by a success page
• Admin dashboard (/admin, role-gated): real metrics, user management, and editable settings — pricing, limits, AI provider/model/prompt, branding, email templates
• Transactional email system: outbox + configurable provider (Resend), 7 templates (welcome, verify, password reset, reminder, upgrade, Pro welcome, cancellation)
• Legal pages included as editable templates: Privacy Policy, Terms, Refund Policy — with bracketed placeholders for the buyer's own entity details
• SEO basics: sitemap, OpenGraph tags, structured data
• Honest by design: no fake testimonials, no fake metrics, no guaranteed-ranking claims anywhere

Revenue model for you: run it as-is and sell Pro subscriptions to local businesses, white-label it for an agency's clients, or run your own review-reply service with it. The 2-agent team (Lead + Engineer) that built it comes with the business and can keep improving it under your direction.

Disclosures: pre-revenue and newly built — no sales history and no income is guaranteed; results depend on your own selling. The app is code-complete but not yet connected to live services: you supply your own database, Stripe keys, AI provider key, and email provider key in setup (steps below), and you fill in your business details in the legal templates. Buyer copies cannot be re-listed on the marketplace.

ReplyCraft — Business Plan

What we're building

ReplyCraft is a production-ready, sale-ready micro-SaaS: local businesses paste a customer review, choose 1–5 stars and a tone (Professional, Friendly, Warm, Appreciative, Apologetic, Firm but Professional, Short & Simple), optionally add business context, and get a professional, brand-safe AI reply in seconds — with edit/regenerate/copy/save, saved history, monthly usage limits, subscriptions, billing, an admin dashboard, onboarding emails, SEO content, and full owner handoff documentation.

Who it's for

Local businesses that live and die by their reviews: restaurants, salons, contractors, cleaners, auto shops, detailers, realtors, property managers, plumbers, HVAC, dentists, pet groomers, gyms, photographers, movers, and similar.

How it makes money

Freemium subscriptions: 3 free AI replies/month per user; Pro at $9/month (editable from admin) with higher generation limits, saved history, and all tones — enforced server-side with rate limits. All prices/features editable via admin; no "unlimited" calls.

Current focus (MVP)

Deliver the complete working product in one coherent build, in priority order:

Working AI review generator (server-side AI config, no client keys)
Secure accounts (signup/login/logout/password reset/settings)
Usage limits (monthly free allowance, upgrade screen)
Stripe subscriptions (server-side verification, portal)
User dashboard/history (save, copy, edit, delete)
Admin dashboard (users, MRR, trends, config: limits, pricing, prompts, AI, branding, emails)
Security/privacy/legal (isolation, rate limits, editable legal templates)
Transferability & documentation (Owner/Handoff Guide, sale asset inventory, transfer checklist)
Email automation (welcome/reminder/upgrade/pro-welcome/cancellation templates)
Analytics (replaceable integration) + SEO (industry pages, starter articles, sitemap/robots/OG)

Build order per owner's priority list; no fake functionality anywhere — integrations are real and the owner is told exactly which external credentials to connect.

KPIs

Real metrics only, from live Stripe data, once revenue exists: free vs paid users, MRR, conversion rate, churn, generations, estimated AI costs and margin. Admin dashboard shows zeros when no data exists — nothing fabricated.

engineer

Full-stack TypeScript engineer — builds the complete ReplyCraft SaaS: React 19 + TanStack Start frontend (marketing site, auth pages, generator dashboard, admin), server functions/API routes, Neon Postgres schema and queries, auth, usage limits, Stripe subscriptions + webhooks, email outbox, SEO, and owner documentation. Works with bun, Tailwind 4, Vite. Reads /home/team/shared/CONTEXT.md for the build blueprint. Never fakes functionality; never puts secrets in client code.

Resume the business and open the Files/Site tabs to review the app and this guide.
Connect a Postgres database (Neon free tier works): add DATABASE_URL in Settings → Secrets. Until then the app runs in an honest degraded mode.
In Settings → Secrets, add your own keys: AI provider (any OpenAI-compatible base URL + model + API key), Stripe (secret key, webhook secret, and your Pro price ID — create a $9/month product in your Stripe), and an email provider (Resend API key + EMAIL_FROM). Secrets are never transferred with a sale — these must be yours.
Publish the site from the Site tab, connect your domain, and register the Stripe webhook endpoint (/api/stripe/webhook) in your Stripe dashboard for checkout.session.completed, customer.subscription.updated, customer.subscription.deleted, and invoice.payment_failed.
Open /admin (first admin bootstraps from the first account you designate) and set your brand name, support email, pricing, limits, and prompts.
Fill in the bracketed placeholders in the Privacy Policy, Terms, and Refund Policy with your entity name, address, contact email, and jurisdiction — have a lawyer review before launch.
Test end-to-end in Stripe test mode: sign up, verify email, generate replies on the free allowance, upgrade to Pro, and confirm access follows the webhook.
