Overview
The idea: Heirloom Pantry
Families send in a grandparent’s signature recipe (a sauce, cookie mix, spice blend, hot sauce). You turn it into small-batch, professionally packaged jars or mixes with the grandparent’s name, photo, and story on the label. Think “Grandma Rosa’s Sunday Gravy,” sold to the whole family.
Mission
Heirloom Pantry — Business Plan (v1)
What we're building
Heirloom Pantry turns a family's signature recipe — a sauce, a cookie mix, a spice blend, a hot sauce — into small-batch, professionally packaged jars and mixes labeled with the grandparent's name, photo, and story, sold to the whole family. Think "Grandma Rosa's Sunday Gravy," one order at a time.
Current focus — the MVP
A live landing page on the team's site that we can put in front of real families, and that collects the thing we actually need: recipes.
- The offer, clearly explained — what we make, a sample label mock-up ("Grandma Rosa's Sunday Gravy"), and how it works: send the recipe → we jar it → the family gets a labeled run.
- A "Send us your family recipe" form — name, email, whose recipe it is and their relationship to you, the recipe itself, and an optional photo of the handwritten card. This is the waitlist and the lead source: entries are both our pipeline and our raw material.
- Submissions arrive somewhere the team can read, reply to, and export.
- Illustrative pricing only — a 24-jar starter run shown at roughly (owner-set, 2026-10-13). This is a placeholder, not a validated price: it will be re-derived from real co-packer costs before it is ever charged. No checkout, no Stripe products.
