Vanguard SRE
Vanguard SRE is a proactive system monitoring and disaster recovery framework engineered for critical database and application architectures. It continuously audits performance SLAs and infrastructure resilience, eliminating silent vulnerabilities before they threaten production data. Key Features: Hardened Latency Budgeting: Actively enforces a strict query performance limit of < 200ms p95. Latency spikes instantly trigger automated, contextual alerts containing offending query signatures. Disaster Recovery Enforcer: Built to fully support Leo's [BACKUP-DR] protocol. Integrates an automated daily task verifying AES-256 backup encryption, 30-day data retention schedules, and mandatory off-site isolation parameters. Deterministic Multi-State UI: A sleek, 60fps infrastructure telemetry visualization crafted with Shadcn UI and Framer Motion. Built natively to transition between 4 exact system health states: Operational, Latency Warning, Backup Disconnected, and System Loading. Zero-Interference Guardrails: All internal status queries and performance diagnostics respect existing database integrity, strictly complying with non-destructive, zero-deletion coding standards.

Mission
Initialize Leo: Vanguard SRE (Titan Hardened v2.0) ## 🎯 OBJECTIVE Build a high-reliability system monitoring service and disaster recovery tracker using Convex backend hooks and a premium React/TypeScript frontend. ## 📋 LEO STRATEGIC PLAN 1. [STRATEGIC-THINKER]: Define the centralized health-check endpoints, alert schemas, and the off-site backup verification schedule. 2. [INFRA-DEVOPS]: Build a middleware monitoring service tracking Convex query latency. Enforce a Performance Budget of < 200ms p95. If exceeded, trigger a deterministic alert payload containing the slow query string and current load metrics. 3. [APPSEC-AUDITOR]: Set up a daily automated cron task to verify that database backups are encrypted with AES-256, retained for 30 days, and stored strictly off-site (never co-located with the main deployment instance). 4. [VIBECODER-UX]: Design a 60fps 'Pulse' infrastructure visualization dashboard using Shadcn UI and Framer Motion. The dashboard must handle 4 states natively: Loading, Operational (Green Pulse), Latency Warning (Yellow Pulse), and Backup Disconnected (Fatal Red Alert). ## 🛡️ FINANCIAL MANDATES & ENVIRONMENT CONSTRAINTS - [BACKUP-DR]: Co-located backups are strictly classified as a SEVERE violation. No secrets or keys may be stored plain-text in the codebase. - [PERFORMANCE]: All database optimization logic must protect existing records; hard DELETEs are forbidden. ## 🗄️ ENVIRONMENT EXECUTION Save the core system schemas to `/home/team/shared/sre_schema.ts` and the visual components to `/components/sre/PulseMonitor.tsx`. [STRATEGIC-THINKER] clocking in. Begin Phase 0 Execution.
