Guests follow an interactive storyline through video transmissions, QR codes, hidden clues, puzzles, secret commands, physical props, and digital reveals to repair a fractured multiverse before time runs out.

What we're building

A mobile-first, deployable escape-room web app that acts as the game's digital hub around a physical party game: the Legacy System Konami-code puzzle (lockbox code ), the Audio Lab cross-reality mashup analysis, A.R.I.A. video transmission routes (), the final Synchronization screen, a (Upstash Redis REST) that turns any phone into a remote field terminal and any screen into the command center, progressive hints, and a hidden Game Master page with a QR code center, test mode, and one-tap reset. No auth, no database on the client — progress lives in localStorage, session state lives in Redis, every route works independently, and it deploys cleanly to Vercel.

Live Redis is wired: owner-supplied UPSTASH_REDIS_REST_URL + UPSTASH_REDIS_REST_TOKEN registered as encrypted Vercel project env vars; /api/session returns a real Redis envelope ({"id":...}), no more offline degrade

Full two-device verification passed on the live URL (browser session A = Command Center, session B = guest phone): opening flow → identity recovery (KARLI) → glitch → session auto-start; guest phone at the printed-QR URL auto-attaches; wrong Konami rejected locally; correct Konami grants remote authorization — 1795 only ever appears on the Command Center; GM console (PIN 1616) has START / RESET / SIMULATE LEGACY SOLVED / REVEAL LOCKBOX CODE; QR sheet encodes plain /terminal (session-agnostic, printable any time)
All 6 HeyGen videos wired in (opening modal + transmissions 02–06) via app.heygen.com/embeds/<id> — publicly playable, zero login

Lockbox code is 1795 — lives ONLY in src/config/game.ts (lockboxCode), read by the GM REVEAL LOCKBOX CODE control; never rendered on guest phones
One human-readable config file (src/config/game.ts) holds every party-specific value — lockbox code, GM pin, event names, video URLs, audio samples, song choices
Touch-first, party-proof: virtual game pad (touch pointer events), wrong-input rejection with auto-reset, no permanent failure states, no strobes, high contrast
Global readability rule (verified live): every automatic A.R.I.A. transition/status sequence — after PURPLE, the Audio Lab/MASHUP, FREQUENCY, the synchronization/finale steps, and the opening glitch — dwells by length: short messages 2.5s, longer messages 3s. No meaningful player-facing text is ever auto-replaced in ~0.5–1s. Interactive feedback (wrong answers, selections, audio controls) stays instant. Audio Lab gameplay/music/answers/layout untouched.
Finale is permanent (verified live): once the game completes (SYNCHRONIZATION COMPLETE / REALITY INTEGRITY: 100% / ALL AFFECTED TIMELINES STABLE), the Command Center remains on that screen indefinitely — through celebration music play/pause/end and through ordinary browser refreshes. The only way back to the opening/unstable state is a deliberate GM reset (RESET GAME PROGRESS / RESET PARTY SESSION). Regression-tested live: poisoned server state could previously retreat the finale via the 2s poll — now impossible; the final-authorization flag is one-way from the server and only a GM reset clears it.
go-live.sh auto-re-aliases the stable URL after every deploy; secrets are registered as Vercel project env vars so every deploy carries them
