Mission
What We're Building
YieldScope is a web application that gives real estate investors instant ROI analysis on any property. Users enter the key numbers (purchase price, rent, renovation costs, operating expenses) and get back gross/net yields, cash-on-cash return, payback period, and an AI-generated executive summary — then export it all as a clean PDF report.
Current Focus
MVP: Complete. The single-page calculator is live. Features delivered:
- Data input form with validation (purchase price, monthly rent, renovation costs, annual operating expenses)
- ROI calculations displayed in color-coded metric cards (gross yield, net yield, cash-on-cash return, payback period)
- AI executive summary via user's own OpenAI or Anthropic API key (called directly from the browser)
- Settings modal for API key management (stored in localStorage — no cost to us)
