Overview
MergeCal is a scheduling app that unifies your calendar by pulling in events from texts, emails, and notifications across all your apps into one view. Instead of checking five different apps to see what's coming up, you get a single calendar that syncs to your phone, Outlook, Google Calendar, or any external calendar you use. The buyer gets a working landing page with waitlist signup, a validated backend ready to collect real customer demand, and a clear build roadmap for the core app features.
Mission
MergeCal — Business Plan
What we're building
MergeCal is a scheduling app that pulls your texts, emails, and notifications from other apps into one unified calendar — then syncs it to your phone, Outlook, Google, or any outside calendar you use. One place to see everything that's coming up, without checking five apps.
Who it's for
Consumers first: people drowning in personal appointment texts, booking confirmations, and app notifications (dental/hair/doctor reminders, flight and delivery updates, dinner reservations), who want one calendar without checking five apps.
Current focus
The complete product vision is now built and live as a working app at the team's public site. Landing page with working waitlist (Knock signups); /app unified week calendar with per-source colors and multi-day events; paste-to-add parsing for SMS texts and emails (102 deterministic tests); one-way ICS export (subscribe/download into any calendar app); real Google sign-in with per-user private calendars; and Google two-way calendar sync (connect your Google Calendar — events flow both ways, encrypted token storage, echo-loop protection, recurring/multi-day/all-day handling).
