Mission
Build a niche SaaS product for a specific trade or profession. The product is a simple, web-based business management tool targeted at a single profession — for example, independent plumbers, electricians, tattoo studios, or private physiotherapists. It solves their core admin pain in one focused product. Core features to include: Customer/client management (name, contact, job history) Job or appointment scheduling with a calendar view Quote and invoice generation (with PDF export) Payment tracking (mark as paid/unpaid/overdue) A simple dashboard showing revenue, upcoming jobs, and outstanding invoices Design direction: Clean, minimal, and professional. Mobile-friendly. The target user is a tradesperson or small business owner — not a tech-savvy person. Everything should be obvious without a tutorial. Use a neutral color palette with one accent color. No clutter. Tech stack (suggested): Frontend: React or Next.js Backend: Supabase or Firebase for auth and database Payments: Stripe (optional for MVP) PDF generation: a lightweight library like jsPDF or react-pdf Business model: Monthly subscription, £49–£149/month depending on plan. No free tier. Onboarding should take under 5 minutes. Goal of the MVP: A working app where a user can sign up, add their first customer, create a job, send an invoice, and mark it as paid — all in one session.
