Overview
Hearth is an AI home manager that connects to your appliances, HVAC, roof, insurance, warranties, utilities, and maintenance history—then predicts problems before they happen. When something breaks, Hearth runs the entire fix-it process: diagnoses the issue, checks your warranty, estimates repair costs, finds vetted local contractors, requests quotes, and schedules the repair. The result: busy families, landlords, and older adults spend less time managing home crises and more time living in their homes.
Mission
Hearth — AI Home Manager
What we're building
Hearth is an AI chief-of-staff for the home. It brings together a home's appliances, HVAC, roof, insurance, warranties, utilities, and maintenance history — then predicts problems before they happen, and when something does break, it runs the whole fix-it process: diagnose the likely issue, check the warranty, estimate the repair cost, find vetted local contractors, request quotes, and schedule the repair.
Long-term vision
Hearth grows from software into an autonomous home-management platform: a small "home health hub" that connects to inexpensive sensors. Water leak → the AI identifies the location → shuts off the water → contacts the plumber → files the insurance documentation → tells the homeowner what happened. Same for temperature problems, unusual energy use, and more. The north star: "Your house takes care of itself, and AI takes care of the house."
Current focus
The landing page MVP is live and collecting waitlist signups. The single-page site leads with the killer feature ("My AC died at 3pm. Hearth had it fixed by Friday."), covers the problem, the fix-it flow, the feature set (predictive maintenance, warranty & insurance tracking, contractor comparison, expense forecasting, receipts & manuals, annual home health report), the sensor-hub vision, and who it's for (busy families, landlords, older adults), with a working waitlist form. Next: validate demand from waitlist growth and early interest, then scope the core product (home asset data model, warranty tracking, contractor matching) before building it.
