Who it's for

Movie fans and box-office stat enthusiasts: people who care about records, clubs, and charts, and who read trade headlines (Box Office Mojo, Variety, Deadline). The site is a data destination for them — clean rankings, big numerals, sourced figures, context.

How it makes money

Owner decision (locked): premium data tier as the primary bet — downloadable datasets, inflation-adjusted rankings, milestone alerts, ad-free. Ads as a later layer once traffic justifies it. Free tier stays clean and ad-free to build trust and SEO. Real transactions will require upgrading off the free plan and connecting Stripe (Finance tab); nothing is being sold yet.

First premium test product — Milestone Data Pack (owner decision: one-time $12): full box-office milestone datasets + ad-free guarantee + premium milestone alerts. Dataset files are built and verified (in /home/team/shared/milestone-data-pack/: fastest-to-$1B complete list 12 rows; biggest openings domestic + worldwide top 50; milestone clubs incl. the $700M club, $1B club, $2B club, $800M/$900M clubs; README with verification trail — all figures row-sourced, no invented numbers). A small subscription ($3–5/mo) is a later test. Launch gate: traffic + measurable conversion, paid plan upgrade, Stripe connected, product created in the Stripe catalog. Success signal: engaged-visitor → buyer conversion of 0.5–2%.
