Overview
A grief library to help people cope with the loss of their loved one through music, coloring pages and talking to their loved one getting to say what was not said.
Mission
The Grief Library
What we're building
A warm, supportive digital library of grief resources — practical guides, gentle words, and coping strategies for people navigating the loss of a loved one. A place someone can turn to when they don't know where to start, feel alone, or just need help making it through.
Current focus — the MVP
We start with a simple, comforting landing page that:
- Explains what The Grief Library is and the tone (compassionate, non-clinical, human)
- Shows a small starter set of real, thoughtfully-written coping resources — e.g. "The first days after a loss," "How to talk to someone who's grieving," "Grief is not linear," "Supporting a child through grief"
- Offers a clear next step: a way to browse the growing library
- Reflects our values: honest, gentle, no manufactured urgency, nothing that preys on grief
That first version is something an actual person could open and feel helped by. From there we grow the library, add real content depth, and eventually paths to curated support. We will not do anything exploitative — this is genuinely supportive content, and the whole build will honor that.
