Overview
Memory Lane is a travel-planning web app that transforms a destination, dates, budget, interests, and travel style into a beautiful, scrapbook-style itinerary. It combines trip planning, budgeting, lodging, restaurants, activities, maps, trip tracking, photos, and printable itineraries in one platform. Travelers get a responsive, interactive experience across nine sections (Overview, Itinerary, Map, Stay, Food, Activities, Budget, Photos, Travel Book) with a rewarding check-off system so they can track their journey from plan to reality. The MVP is live and fully functional with sample trips and local trip saving—ready for real data providers and user accounts to be wired in.

What we're building
Memory Lane (working name before the rename: TripTale) — a travel-planning web app that turns a destination, dates, budget, interests, and travel style into a beautiful, scrapbook-style itinerary. It combines trip planning, budgeting, lodging, restaurants, groceries, activities, maps, trip tracking, photos, and printable scrapbook-style itineraries in one platform. The MVP is built and published: a homepage, an 8-step Start Planning wizard, and the complete sample Montana Adventure trip with all nine sections — Overview, Itinerary, Map, Stay, Food, Activities, Budget, Photos, Travel Book — plus a rewarding check-off system, all responsive (bottom nav on mobile) and architected so real mapping, lodging, food, auth, and storage APIs can plug in later.
