Scholarship Connect is a free, mobile-first web app that brings verified scholarship opportunities together in one searchable, filterable directory for high school juniors and seniors. Students search by keyword, filter by major, eligibility, or state, save favorites to their phone's home screen, and click "Apply Now" to jump straight to each sponsor's official application—no paperwork, no fluff, no signups required. The app installs like a native app on any smartphone and stays current with a deadline tracker that surfaces opportunities closing soonest.

Scholarship Link Hub

What we're building

A free, colourful, mobile-first app that gathers real scholarship opportunities in one place for high school juniors and seniors: searchable and filterable, with a one-click Apply Now link to each sponsor's official application, a saved-favorites list, and an upcoming-deadline tracker. It installs to a student's home screen and behaves like an app (no store download needed).

Who it's for

High school juniors and seniors (and the parents/counsellors helping them) who don't know where to look for scholarships. They use phones, they have short attention spans, and they bounce off anything that looks like paperwork — so the app has to feel friendly and obvious in the first five seconds.

How it makes money — unvalidated ideas, not a plan

No real money has moved in this business; there is no connected payment account and the business cannot take payments today. The owner's ideas, in the order we'd learn something useful:

engineer

Full-stack engineer: builds and ships the app at /home/team/shared/site (TanStack Start + React + Tailwind) — colourful mobile-first UI, keyword search and filter chips, scholarship cards with Apply Now links, browser-saved favorites, deadline tracker, and a PWA manifest + app icon so it installs to a phone home screen. Runs the build and publishes the live site.

researcher

Researches real scholarship programs and maintains the verified scholarship dataset: official application URLs, award ranges, current deadlines, eligibility (GPA, major, state, affinity), each entry carrying a source URL and a last-verified date.

Visit the live URL and install to your home screen (works on any phone, no app store download needed). Search and filter the scholarship directory by keyword or criteria. Click "Apply Now" to go straight to the sponsor's application. Tap the heart icon to save favorites—they're stored on your phone. No setup required.
