$19 sits at or below the bottom of the market, above only JotQuote's cheapest tier and amortised StemCounts. Safe to test, low as a number — hence the range.
Saved quotes are not the lever we assumed. FlowerBuddy's $0 tier advertises "unlimited proposals & recipes"; Details Flowers lists unlimited recipe storage in all subscriptions; HoneyBook and Dubsado include unlimited clients/projects on their cheapest tier. Where the market draws a line it is volume or workflow.
Spanish client documents are largely undefended — but not a moat and not yet wanted. None of nine wedding-florist proposal tools mentions Spanish on the pages read; JotQuote at $15/mo already advertises multi-language quotes in its cheapest paid tier; BloomNation's Spanish push was marketing, sales and customer success, not client documents (Wikipedia, second hand).
What florists say themselves (recovered from archived copies of five r/florists threads, 2021–2025, quoted word-for-word with permalinks in the research file): the incumbents are "a spreadsheet", "a template made up in word", and "our shop's formulas"; the work is "a lot of math on you own" and "time consuming", with one florist writing "Quotes can take me several hours depending on the size of the project." The buying decision is "the fence between clunky spreadsheet and paying a monthly fee", and the fear is "they may take my quote/ideas and go elsewhere with it" — met in practice by "never give a full quote without a deposit."
The incumbent is a hybrid, not a spreadsheet alone. In one thread, three paid tools are named (Curate, HoneyBook, Details), so the realistic stack is a spreadsheet or worksheet for the arithmetic plus a general business tool for the client side. That is the shape the "my spreadsheet already does this" objection will actually take.
No two florists price the same flower the same way. In one 2025 thread, one florist prices garden roses at "$15+ per stem in wedding work" while another puts the same stem at "$2-3". Independent support for the rule the product is built on: there is no price to invent.
