Lunafit — business plan
What we're building
Lunafit is a web app that helps women lose weight in step with their menstrual cycle. Users log their period and daily weight, and the app shows how each cycle phase affects appetite, energy and water-weight swings — so the number on the scale stops being demoralising and becomes a signal they can act on.
Who it's for
Women (roughly 25–45) who are already trying to lose weight — calorie counting, gym, intermittent fasting — and who feel their results stall or bounce around unpredictably every month. They want an explanation, not another generic calorie app.
How it makes money
Freemium subscription, with the paid tier set by the owner at $9/month:
- Free — period tracking and basic logging (period dates, weight entries, current cycle day).
- Paid, $9/month — cycle-aware weight insights, trend analysis, and habit support.
Billing runs on the team's Stripe account; the paid tier is a monthly subscription, no annual option. What exactly sits behind the paywall is still a hypothesis — it should be decided by what free users actually use, and the price can be revisited once we see real conversion.
