Overview
Glowbook is an automated booking system for local beauty businesses—salons, nail techs, barbers, lash and brow artists. A business owner sets up their services, prices, duration, and hours once, then shares a booking link with clients. Clients pick a service and available time slot themselves; the appointment lands directly in the owner's calendar with no phone calls, texts, or back-and-forth scheduling. The owner sees all bookings in a dashboard.

What we're building
Glowbook is an automated booking system for local beauty businesses — salons, nail techs, barbers, lash and brow artists. A business sets its services, hours and staff once and gets a shareable booking link; clients pick a service and a free time themselves, and the appointment lands in the business's own calendar with no phone call and no DM thread.
Current focus — the MVP (what the team builds now)
The first working version is one beauty business taking a real booking online, end to end:
- Service & availability setup — services with duration and price, plus opening hours. Seeded with a realistic example salon menu so it's clickable immediately.
- Public booking page on our live site: choose a service → see genuinely free slots (no double-booking, buffer between appointments) → enter name, phone, email → confirmation.
- Owner view listing the bookings that came in, so the owner can see the whole loop works.
