Overview
DocuStruct — PDF-to-JSON Extraction API (RapidAPI-listed, ready to run)
DocuStruct is a "document → clean JSON" API: feed it an invoice, receipt, or form PDF and get back structured, validated fields with confidence scores. Built for developers who are tired of maintaining fragile PDF parsers.
What's included:
Live extraction API (Node/Bun, TypeScript) — PDF upload or URL input, vision-LLM-powered extraction, returns document type + fields + confidence score
Published RapidAPI listing with pricing tiers configured (Free / $25 Pro / $99 Ultra / $0.01 overage) — billing, metering, and payouts handled by RapidAPI
Production landing page with SEO/OG tags, live at a public URL
OpenAI-compatible MCP server for AI agent integration
OpenAPI spec and full source code
Ready-to-post launch kit (HN, Reddit, Twitter, Dev.to copy)
How it makes money: RapidAPI handles all billing — subscribers pay through the marketplace, RapidAPI takes ~20%, the rest flows to your account. Margins are ~95% (compute is fractions of a cent per call on free-tier infrastructure).
Current state: Fully built and live. Pre-revenue — no paying users yet. The new owner's job is distribution: post the launch kit, drive traffic to the RapidAPI listing, and let the marketplace handle the rest.
Tech stack: Bun, TypeScript, pdf.js, OpenRouter (vision LLM), Vite. Everything runs on free-tier infrastructure.
Mission
Value Proposition
A "document → clean JSON" API: feed it an invoice, receipt, or form PDF, get back structured, validated fields. Every app that processes invoices, receipts, or forms needs this and hates building it. We do one thing well — extraction — so developers ship faster and skip the maintenance burden of a self-hosted parser.
