Overview
This business talks about the best sports recruiting coaches and programs for student-athletes who are trying to play at the next level of their sport. Also, it is for coaches to also look for opportunities to coach at a higher level whether that is high school, college, professionally, etc.
Mission
What we're building
RecruitHub is a sports recruiting platform that connects athletes with coaches and scouts. Athletes create rich profiles showcasing their stats, achievements, highlight videos, and academic info. Coaches and scouts search, filter, and discover talent across sports, positions, and regions. The platform replaces scattered highlight reels, spreadsheets, and cold emails with a single, professional recruiting hub.
Current focus — MVP
The MVP is a polished web app where:
- Athletes can sign up, build a profile (bio, stats, positions, highlight video links, academic info), and make themselves discoverable
- Coaches/scouts can sign up, browse athlete profiles, filter by sport/position/graduation year/region, save prospects to a watchlist, and message athletes
- The app looks professional, works on mobile and desktop, and feels like a premium product
How it makes money
- Free tier: basic profile, limited browsing
- Athlete premium: enhanced profile, video uploads, visibility boosting
- Coach/scout premium: advanced search filters, bulk messaging, export tools
