Overview
Fridge Raid is a web app that instantly shows you what you can cook with the ingredients already in your kitchen. Type in what you have, and it displays dishes you can make right now, plus dishes you're just one or two ingredients away from making. It includes 22 recipes built directly into the app with no internet dependency, plus optional filters for cooking time and dietary preferences. You can also ask Claude to suggest additional recipe ideas based on your current ingredients.

Fridge Raid — business plan
What we're building
Fridge Raid is a web app: you type in what's actually in your kitchen and it tells you what you can cook right now. One page, no sign-up, live on our own site.
Current focus
The MVP is built and live at our public URL, and I've checked every behaviour myself in a browser against the live site:
- An ingredient box pre-filled with a sample list marked EXAMPLE; once you edit it, the list is saved in that browser and comes back on your next visit.
- Cook now and One or two away — the second naming exactly what's missing (e.g. "missing: bread"). On the sample list: 6 cook-now, 14 one-or-two-away.
- Maximum cooking-time and vegetarian filters, and a "I already have salt, pepper, oil and water" checkbox — all confirmed to change the results.
- 22 dishes built into the app; the recipes need no internet at all.
- asks permission once (naming that only the ingredient list is sent), then calls Claude from the server. Right now it says plainly that the feature isn't set up yet, because the server key isn't in place; the rest of the app keeps working.
