Overview
LocalBite is a hyperlocal food marketing platform that helps independent restaurants showcase their signature dishes to nearby customers. Restaurants create product pages for individual menu items with descriptions, pricing, and photos. Customers discover dishes by location and neighborhood, driving foot traffic and orders to local eateries. The platform features dish-level ratings and reviews so standout items get discovered, plus a restaurant dashboard for managing menu inventory.

What we're building
A hyperlocal food marketing platform that helps independent restaurants promote their dishes to nearby customers. Restaurants create simple, beautiful product pages for their signature items, and customers discover them by location — driving foot traffic and online orders to the places that make neighborhoods great.
Core features (post-MVP)
- Restaurant dashboard — each restaurant gets their own space to manage their menu: add dishes, update descriptions, set prices, refresh offerings
- Dish-level ratings & reviews — customers rate and review individual dishes, not just the restaurant as a whole — so the amazing taco gets the spotlight it deserves
- Location-based discovery — browse dishes by neighborhood, see what's popular nearby
