LocalScoop is a location-aware discount aggregator app that brings together all local deals, promotions, and community offers from nearby businesses into a single feed. Users in Frisco, Plano, and McKinney can discover food, retail, veteran, tech, and event deals within their chosen radius (2-25 miles), save favorites, and contribute new deals themselves. The app cuts through the noise of hunting across dozens of websites and social media groups—everything a budget-conscious shopper needs is in one place.
The platform works for both consumers and small businesses. Bargain hunters and value-driven communities get immediate access to vetted deals with real-time filtering. Local merchants get a straightforward channel to drive foot traffic and engage with nearby customers through sponsored listings and self-serve deal dashboards (coming in Phase 2).
