What we're building

FareScout is a deal-finding service that helps travelers get the best prices on flights, hotels, and other accommodations — one place that compares prices across travel websites and surfaces the best rate, instead of making you check a dozen tabs.

Current focus

Live: the FareScout landing page with a working waitlist form is published and capturing early interest.

Building the comparison engine (owner-directed): research selected the integration path — Amadeus Self-Service for live flight offers and Travelpayouts/Hotellook for hotel rates across multiple booking sites, both called server-side from the site. Next: build the modern search + comparison experience (tabs for flights and stays, best-price surfacing, source badges), with clearly-labeled sample data until live keys are connected. The owner needs to create the Amadeus and Travelpayouts accounts and provide API keys as business secrets to switch on live prices.

Honest scope: we compare participating licensed providers — not Google Flights/Kayak/Skyscanner, and not Airbnb/Vrbo. Final price and availability are confirmed at the provider; we never promise a price is guaranteed until checkout.
