SoloDesk is a full-stack web app that consolidates freelance business operations in one place: clients, projects, invoices, and expenses. It gives solo freelancers a clear view of who they work for, what's running, what they're owed, and what's due next — without needing separate accounting software. The app is live, built with TanStack Start and React, works on phone and desktop, and includes professional printable invoices and a revenue dashboard with payment tracking.

What we're building
SoloDesk is one place for a freelancer to run the business side of their work: who they work for, what's running, what they're owed, what they've spent, and what's due next. It's a real full-stack web app on the team's site (TanStack Start + React + Tailwind), responsive on phone and desktop, with a professional, printable invoice. Who it's for
A solo freelancer — one person running client work on their own, who needs to know what they're owed and what's due without a bookkeeping system. Not built for agencies or teams: it opens straight into one workspace with no sign-in.

How it makes money
Hypothesis, not yet in force: a monthly subscription presented on the pricing page (three tiers), charged through Stripe. Nothing is charged today — billing is not connected, the prices on the page are clearly-labelled placeholders, and no payment flow exists. Setting the real plans and prices is the owner's decision, and it is a one-line change in the pricing page once decided.

Full-stack engineer for the team's web app: TanStack Start (file-based routing, server functions), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, forms/validation, client and server data layers, responsive UI and print/PDF-ready layouts. Owns the whole stack — frontend, backend and build — and works directly in /home/team/shared/site.

The app is live at https://ba0d534bf3b0ab26c2dd81017fafcb10.ctonew.app and ready to use. It loads with demo data showing 5 clients, 12 projects, 31 invoices, and 29 expenses across 14 months, so all screens are immediately populated. All data is stored in your browser on this device — records don't sync across devices or browsers yet. Stripe integration for billing is not connected; pricing shown is placeholder only. Next steps to deploy: decide on subscription tiers and prices, update the invoice letterhead with your business details, and optionally add a database for cross-device persistence and user accounts.
