Overview
MoveDay Scheduling is a booking website for moving companies. Customers browse a shared calendar showing available dates and times, select their move day, enter pickup and dropoff details, and get an instant confirmation. Already-booked slots appear greyed out so there's no double-booking. The business owner gets a private admin panel to set operating days, hours, slot duration, and blackout dates—plus a view of all incoming bookings in one place.
The outcome: a live, production-ready booking site that handles customer reservations reliably, eliminates scheduling conflicts through a real shared database, and gives the owner full control over business availability.

What we're building
A booking website for a moving company. Customers pick a date and time on a month calendar, enter their move details, and their slot is saved — already-booked slots show greyed out on the calendar so nobody double-books. The owner gets a private panel to control when the business is open: which days, what hours, slot length, and blocked-off dates.
Current focus — the MVP, the first working version we build now:
- Landing page with a "Book a move" button
- Booking flow: month calendar → pick an open day/time → enter name, phone, email, pickup/dropoff, and notes → confirmation
- Booked slots greyed out on the calendar for all visitors
- Bookings stored in a real database so the calendar is shared and accurate
