The Signal Engine (Built, NOT LIVE): AI-assisted theme tagging and narrative weekly summaries. Code is fully wired to OpenAI and responds live when a valid key is present — but the OPENAI_API_KEY currently in the environment is a placeholder ("044772"), so every AI call throws invalid_api_key. This is a credential issue awaiting the owner: save a real key (from platform.openai.com → API keys) under OPENAI_API_KEY in Secrets. Until then, do NOT claim AI features work.
Voice-to-Text (Built, requires valid OpenAI key): Hands-free reflection for premium users — uses OpenAI transcription, so it shares the key blocker above.
Privacy Lock (Completed): Hardened passcode security (no biometric — site copy now says passcode only).
The Collector's Path (Completed): Specialized question packs for Career, Creativity, and Grief.
The Quiet Dialogue (Built, requires valid OpenAI key): AI-guided deep reflection sessions — same key blocker as above.
Branding Sweep (Completed): Full 'Before you leave' rebrand shipped and live — all UI copy, AI prompts, site.json, and content files swept; "The Signal Engine" retained only as a feature name. New visual mark ("Open Aperture" — sage incomplete circle with terracotta focal point) designed, spec'd at /home/team/shared/design/VISUAL_MARK.md, and wired into nav + favicon.
Engagement Tracking (Completed): SHM completion tracking implemented (mark/unmark complete on weekly summaries, done-state UI on /summary, completion count queryable for KPI).
Marketing & Launch Plan (Approved): Three-phase launch — Phase 0 pre-launch QA, Phase 1 soft launch to 5–10 trusted contacts + free product directories, Phase 2 public launch (Product Hunt, Show HN, launch post), Phase 3 first-30-days retention review. Full plan at /home/team/shared/content/LAUNCH_PLAN.md. "Launched" is defined as real users writing real reflections with ≥1 week of data — not directory posts. Channels are honest only: no cold email, no paid ads yet, no fake urgency, no waitlist capture.
Landing Copy (Approved): Final landing page copy at /home/team/shared/content/LANDING_COPY.md — every claim verified truthful (export exists, offline behavior stated honestly, no fabricated testimonials).
Landing Page (Completed): Final launch landing page and /premium live and verified — all fabricated claims stripped (fake "Early Beta Voice" testimonial, "Most Chosen" badge, non-existent "Try Premium free" trial, biometric claims, false downgrade wording) after repeated rejections; copy now matches approved LANDING_COPY.md; site-wide audit clean; all routes serve HTTP 200. Design spec (LANDING_LAUNCH.md) approved.
Pricing (DECIDED): $4.99/month subscription via the owner's own Stripe account (option a). Stripe Checkout integration built, approved, and live in fallback mode: creates a $4.99/mo recurring price + hosted checkout, caches the URL, gates "First week free" copy on an actual configured trial (none by default), and falls back to /premium until the key arrives. Activates on next publish once STRIPE_SECRET_KEY is saved to Secrets. The legacy "Signal Premium (Monthly)" $10 one-time product in the managed catalog is superseded and will not be used. No real money has moved yet ($0 balance, no transactions).
Site status: Live at the platform URL; all routes serve HTTP 200.
