What we're building
DormSwap is a marketplace web app where college students buy and sell dorm essentials — mini fridges, lamps, desks, textbooks, decor — with other students on their campus.
Current focus
Build the MVP: a working app a student can click through today. It has three parts:
- Browse — a feed of posted dorm items showing photo, title, price, and category.
- Post — a simple form where any student can list their own item (photo, title, price, category, description).
- Live on the team's site — deployed so it's publicly clickable, with a shared store so anything posted actually appears in the feed.
Buying at this stage means contacting the seller to arrange pickup — real payments come in a later phase once the listing loop works.
