Overview
Vivify is a web app where you create an AI character with a face, voice, personality, and backstory—then actually meet it. When you message your character, it replies as a video of itself talking in its own voice. Type to communicate; watch video responses come back. The platform offers two tiers: a shopfront tier for adult-oriented, suggestive characters (18+, non-explicit), and a self-hosted explicit tier for customers who want unfiltered content on their own infrastructure. Both run the same codebase with a content-level switch, so the character creation, calling, messaging, and video pipeline work identically—only the model, system prompt, and content policy change.

A web app where anyone creates an AI character — its face, voice, personality and backstory — and then actually sees it: the character answers as a video of itself talking, in its own voice, and can send you short video messages. Typing is how you speak to it; video is how it speaks back.
Product shape — decided: two tiers, one codebase
- Shopfront tier, served from this platform's site: adult-oriented and suggestive — adult characters, flirty and unfiltered in language, an 18+ gate — but not sexually explicit. This is the tier that can take money on our Stripe account.
- Explicit tier, run on hosting and payment rails the owner controls: unfiltered sexual content, 18+ only. Stripe prohibits adult content including AI-generated content, so it cannot be charged for here and will not be served from this platform-hosted site.
