What we're building
An AI receptionist for small businesses: it answers phone calls and messages, books appointments, handles FAQs, and follows up on leads — built for appointment-driven businesses like dentists, salons, tradespeople, and clinics. V1 is a chat-first receptionist (a web chat widget that answers questions, books appointments, and captures leads); real phone-call answering is a v2+ project.
Current focus
Stage 1 is live: a polished landing page with waitlist capture, per-industry pages (dentists, salons, tradespeople, clinics), and an internal lead pipeline (statuses, source tags, follow-up tracking) behind an admin dashboard. Lead storage has moved from a JSON file to Neon Postgres; Phase 1 (receptionist data model + pilot business seeding) is complete — three pilot profiles (dental, salon, trades) are live in the database.
Phase 2+3 (chat widget + FAQ conversation engine) is complete and live: visitors can chat with each pilot business on the demo page, get grounded FAQ answers, book slots, or leave their details; conversations and chat-originated leads land in the admin pipeline. Phase 4 (in-house booking flow) is complete: chat bookings create appointments with atomic overlap protection and business-hours/blackout validation; admins approve or reject them from the admin dashboard. Booking approval policy for pilots: (a chat booking is held until the business confirms).
