What we're building

FixDay is a local service business that connects homeowners with on-demand handymen in Los Angeles, California. Homeowners land on a simple site, see what we fix and what it costs, and can call or request a visit — the owner then follows up by phone and books the job. (Renamed from HandyOnCall on the owner's request for a simpler name.)

Current focus (MVP)

The first working version is live and verified:

• Home page — what we fix, how it works, where we work.
• Pricing page — the owner's real rates: $50 call-out fee covering the trip out only, then $80/hour, with the fixed quote agreed before work starts.
• Booking page — request form: name, phone, optional email, address, job type, description, preferred day/time.
• Contact form — general enquiries.
• Working intake — every booking and contact submission is stored, validated server-side and protected by anti-bot checks. Verified with real submissions through the live form.
• Owner inbox — a password-protected page at /admin where the owner reads requests and marks them new / contacted / booked. Live: the owner has set their password.
