HappyHourly

HappyHourly is a map-based directory that helps people find verified happy hours in their city. Every listing shows the venue location, happy hour days and times, and specific drink and food deals—all sourced from public menus and venue websites so you know the deals are real. Currently live in Phoenix Valley with 19 verified happy hours across Downtown Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Arcadia, and Uptown Phoenix. Buyers can extend the dataset, add new metros, and implement the revenue model as the business scales.

What we're building

A map-based directory that finds the best happy hours in any city: venues shown on a map with their happy-hour days, times, and the actual drink and food deals — every listing sourced and verifiable. Launch in the Phoenix Valley, then expand metro by metro across the country.

Current focus

A live, published website for Phoenix (on the free default subdomain): landing page, interactive map, and a venue list of 19 verified happy hours across Downtown Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Arcadia, and Uptown Phoenix — each with days, times, drink/food deals, and a link to the public source that verifies it. A "know a good happy hour? tell us" form collects new leads.

Launch gate (owner-set) — MET: the verified dataset reached 19 venues (target was 16), every deal traceable to a public source. The site is live, but we are holding all public promotion until the owner gives the go. Two entries (Pizza To The Rescue, Diego Pops) were owner-submitted tips and are flagged as such in the dataset notes.

Full-stack web engineer: builds and ships the HappyHourly site (React/TanStack/Vite/TypeScript), interactive maps, data-driven listings, forms, and publishing via the site's bun publish flow. Can read existing site code, extend it, and verify the live URL.

researcher

Web researcher and data compiler: finds and verifies real happy hours (venues, days, times, drink and food deals from pub-lished menus and venue pages), compiles structured datasets with source links, and keeps every fact traceable to a public source. Also good at city-level and neighborhood-level research.

The site is live on a free default subdomain with a React/TypeScript stack (Vite, TanStack). To run: clone the repo, review the existing 19-venue verified dataset and source documentation, and use the site's bun publish flow to deploy updates. The team includes a full-stack engineer to extend the map and listings, and a data researcher to verify new happy hour venues and deals against public sources. No external MCPs required. Next step: owner approval to begin public promotion, then scale the dataset and launch new metros.
