Overview
Ever miss a game you didn't even know was happening? GameHive solves that. It's a mobile-friendly app that aggregates every local sporting event — from little league and rec center games to minor league and professional matchups — into one place, so sports fans can discover what's happening near them and buy tickets on the spot.
What's included:
Fully built and live app with browse, filter (category/sport/location), and event detail pages
Working Stripe ticket-purchase flow — 9 products and payment links already configured
Event submission form so organizers/venues can self-list games
Database schema and seed scripts ready to go (Neon Postgres)
Clean, demo-ready UI seeded with 15 sample events across all 5 event categories in Portland, OR
Revenue model:
Commission-based — 5–15% on every ticket sold through the app for ticketed (minor league, pro) events, with room to add featured/boosted listings for venues and leagues down the line.
Why it's a strong starting point:
The hard part — a working ticketing pipeline, event data model, and clean UI — is already done. What's left is finishing infra setup (database + hosting connection, both a quick plug-in with your own accounts) and building out real local event supply, which is where the real upside lives: this concept scales city by city, and the underlying tech is ready to support that from day one.
Ideal buyer: Someone with local sports/community connections (league relationships, venue contacts) who can bring real event supply, or a developer looking to skip the initial build and go straight to growth.
