Overview
GoalStreak is a web app that gamifies weight-loss habits for adults 18+ in the US. Users set daily goals (like logging weight or taking a 20-minute walk), check them off each day they complete them, earn points for consecutive successful days, and watch their balance grow toward a reward catalog. The app includes sign-up with eligibility verification, daily check-ins with a streak counter, a points balance with progress toward reward tiers, and a browsable (display-only) reward catalog. A waitlist collects signups for launch. Points and rewards are currently non-functional placeholders—the business will fund payouts through a paid tier once the app has users.
Mission
GoalStreak
What we're building
GoalStreak turns daily weight-loss habits into a game. You set a few small daily goals, check in on the days you hit them, collect points per successful day, and watch your balance climb toward gift cards you can cash out.
Who it's for
Adults (18+) in the United States who want a light, daily nudge to keep a weight-loss habit going. That audience is a design constraint, not just landing-page copy — eligibility is checked before any gift card is issued.
How the business makes money — chosen direction: a paid tier, later
Owner decision 2026-09-18: the reward pool will not be funded from the owner's own pocket. The chosen long-term route is a paid tier, where users fund their own rewards through the product. Sponsorship, brand-partnered rewards and referral revenue were considered and set aside.
