Overview
Billwright turns a few form fields into a finished, professional invoice. You enter your business and client details, line items, and a brief overview of the work — Billwright writes the descriptive line-item wording and closing notes for you, then generates a ready-to-paste payment block listing your Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer options. Built for freelancers, consultants, tradespeople, and small agencies who know exactly what they did but resent the blank page of writing it up. Billwright slots into your existing payment workflow rather than asking you to change it.
Mission
Billwright — business plan
What we're building
Billwright turns a few form fields into a finished, professional invoice. The owner enters their business and client details, their line items, and a short overview of anything the invoice has to cover — Billwright writes the descriptive line-item wording and closing notes for them (wide, specific, grammatically correct, never filler), then lists their payment options (Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, others) and hands them a ready-to-paste payment block for their own site or checkout.
Who it's for
Freelancers, consultants, tradespeople and small agencies who invoice clients themselves and resent the blank page — people who know exactly what they did but stall on how to write it up. They already get paid through Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer, so Billwright slots into a workflow they already have rather than asking them to change it.
How it makes money
Paid from day one. One plan, Billwright Pro at $4/month, billed through our own Stripe account by Stripe Payment Link — no free tier of output. The split is deliberate: , taking the invoice away is not. A visitor can fill in the whole builder, generate and edit every description and closing note, and read the live preview; the $4 unlocks print / save-as-PDF and the paste-able payment block. Cancellation is a real route, not a promise: buyers email our own mailbox and we stop the subscription by hand.
