Loopback Returns is an AI agent that automates your entire returns process end to end. Upload an order, apply your store's return policy, and the agent finds the customer's details, decides eligibility, issues return labels, tracks packages, processes refunds or exchanges, and sends follow-up emails—all without human intervention. It's a returns department in a box for small-to-mid e-commerce stores currently handling returns by hand.

What we're building
Loopback Returns is an AI agent that runs an online store's entire returns process end to end — not just answering "how do I return this?" but actually finding the customer's order, applying the return policy, deciding eligibility, issuing the return label, tracking the package, processing the refund/exchange, updating the store, and handling follow-up emails. A virtual returns department a store plugs in to replace manual return handling.
Who it's for
Online stores (small-to-mid e-commerce merchants) that currently handle returns by hand and want them automated end to end. Shopify was the planned reference integration; the connector is built but live store activation is parked for now.
How it makes money
Store-facing subscription, owner-locked pricing: Free = 7-day free trial; Standard = $30/month; Pro = $99/month. Merchants sign up for a free trial (no card) and can upgrade via Stripe Payment Links (live Standard & Pro links set up and billed into the business's Stripe account); the paid Returns Desk unlocks server-side after a verified webhook.
