Mission
SafeExit — Business Plan
What we're building
SafeExit is a compassionate, practical website that gives people leaving an abusive situation everything they need to do it safely: step-by-step exit planning, safety checklists, emergency hotlines and shelter contacts, and guidance on documenting abuse, packing essentials, and protecting digital privacy.
Why it matters
Financial abuse occurs in ~99% of domestic-abuse relationships, and fear of not being able to survive financially is the number-one reason people stay. SafeExit's job is to show, concretely, that a safe way out exists — including how to build hidden income, keep evidence, and find free help.
Current focus — the MVP (in build)
A single, clean website with clear sections:
- Warning signs & what safety planning looks like
- A practical "prepare to leave" checklist (documents for her and her children, money, go-bag, digital cleanup)
- Almost-invisible income ideas (verified, with safety caveats)
