Overview
HerList is a local-services directory connecting customers with vetted, woman-owned businesses. Buyers get a fully functional landing page that explains the HerList mission, showcases service categories (plumbers, electricians, cleaners, landscapers, caterers, photographers, and more), and captures early customer interest through a location-based waitlist signup. The page is built and ready to deploy—visitors can learn what HerList is, why women-owned businesses matter, and join the waitlist for launch in their area.

What we're building
HerList is a local-services directory in the spirit of Angie's List, but every listing is a woman-owned business or contractor. Customers browse vetted, verified women-owned pros — plumbers, cleaners, electricians, landscapers, caterers, photographers — and book with confidence knowing who they're hiring.
Current focus — MVP
A polished landing page for the product, live on the web: it explains what HerList is, why women-owned matters, the categories we'll cover, and captures early interest with a waitlist-style "get notified when we launch in your area" signup. The MVP is the first working version of the business — a page visitors can actually use — not the full directory.
Once the page is live, the next milestone is building the directory itself: searchable listings, vetting, and reviews. That's intentionally not part of the MVP.
