What we're building
FlipFlow is a mobile-first web app for solo and two-person resale businesses. Every item bought to flip is a Unit — source, purchase price, seller contact, item details, photos, repair log, status, sale details, and warranty — tracked through sourced → in repair → ready to sell → listed → sold → delivered, all from a phone.

Current focus
The MVP is built, published, and verified end-to-end, and cloud sync is now live:

Dashboard: pipeline by status, this month's profit, warranties expiring soon
Add a unit fast: source, purchase price, seller contact, item details, photos
Unit detail: full record, quick-add repair log (date, parts cost, labor time, notes), photo capture, status control, mark-sold with payment method/received and auto-calculated warranty expiration
Delivery/install schedule: upcoming deliveries by day with address, buyer contact, install notes, one-tap Delivered
Warranty lookup: search past sales by buyer name/phone — what was sold, when, what's covered
Profit report: by week/month/quarter — units sold, revenue, cost, net profit, best/worst sources
Cloud sync: records back up to a Postgres database and follow the owner across phone and laptop, gated by a single passcode (no accounts); local-first, so the app works offline and syncs when back online

Current focus: the owner validates the daily loop on a real phone now that data is safe and synced, then decides the next milestone. Known small gaps queued: delete propagation across devices. Explicitly out of scope: dispatch, time tracking, hourly-labor invoicing, shipping integrations.
