Audit Workbench is a private consulting workbench for 3PL (third-party logistics) auditors. It lets you import client contracts, rate cards, and invoices, then automatically identifies overcharges against agreed terms and calculates total savings found. The tool surfaces discrepancies with editable status tracking and generates printable audit findings reports—designed for individual consultants who need to quickly prove their value with documented, quantified results.

What we're building

Audit Workbench is a private, single-user consulting workbench for comparing 3PL invoice charges against client contracts and rate cards, surfacing overcharges, and calculating identified savings and fees. It will use a React frontend with Convex for the database and authentication, with no client-facing portal or external logistics integrations.

Current focus

The MVP is a dense, professional client audit workspace: a dashboard and client detail flow with seeded demo data, contract and rate-card capture, invoice/volume/stock views, automated findings checks with editable statuses and impact totals, fee calculation, and a printable findings report. The first version is intended to be clickable end to end for one consultant and one realistic demo client.
