Overview
Second Call is a confidential peer support network built by and for first responders struggling with addiction and mental health. Responders request a private peer check-in through the platform and are matched with a trained peer who understands the job—someone who's walked the same path. The network operates with strict confidentiality, keeping all disclosures away from employers and departments, with warm handoffs to licensed clinicians when professional care is needed.
The MVP landing page establishes mission, trust, and a clear path to confidential help. After launch, the full platform will route peer requests, manage coordinator workflows, and scale region by region, starting with a single pilot region to maintain quality peer training and supervision.

What we're building
A private support network for first responders dealing with addiction and mental health — a safe, credible place to find confidential help without the fear that a disclosure will follow them back to the job.
How it works (ratified design, 2026-09-05)
A responder requests a peer check-in on our site (phone or text). A coordinator matches them to a trained peer who understands the job — one conversation first, follow-ups only if the responder wants them — with a warm-handoff referral layer to licensed clinicians when professional care is needed. Confidential by default: nothing shared with any department or employer; the only exceptions are imminent harm, child abuse, and vulnerable-adult abuse, disclosed up front.
