What we're building

An AI application that helps detect and diagnose cancer from medical images — starting with skin lesions, where a photo can be screened in seconds. It is a screening and decision-support aid for patients and clinicians: every result is clearly labeled and always subject to a physician's judgment. It supports a real diagnosis, it never replaces one.

Current focus

The MVP has two pieces, both honest about what they are:

1. Landing page — explains what CancerSight AI does, how the screening works, and the strict limits (screening aid, not a diagnosis, not FDA-cleared — see a doctor).
2. Screening prototype — a working upload-and-assess flow: the user uploads a skin-lesion photo, the app runs a pre-trained image model, and returns an AI risk readout (e.g. low/high risk) with guidance to consult a clinician.

The prototype is a research-grade demo until validated — no diagnostic claims, no medical advice, no false assurances. That boundary is part of the product, not a disclaimer bolted on later.
