Mission
What we're building
Recipe Vault is a web app that captures and organizes recipes from across the web. A user pastes a URL to any online recipe, the app extracts the structured recipe — ingredients, instructions, times, servings — and stores it in a clean, personal collection they can search and browse anytime.
Current focus
The MVP is a single-page web app with three things: a URL input where a user pastes a recipe link, a parser that fetches the page and extracts structured recipe data, and a saved-recipes gallery where past captures live. Recipes persist in the browser (localStorage) — no accounts, no backend. The goal is to nail the core capture → display → browse loop in the simplest possible form.
