Overview
CurateMyCloset is an AI-powered personal stylist that solves the "I have a full closet and nothing to wear" problem. Users photograph their wardrobe and the AI auto-detects and categorizes every item, then generates outfit recommendations using only what they already own—with weather-aware daily suggestions, virtual try-on previews, and occasion-based planning. The result: customers discover complete outfits from their existing closet, reduce decision fatigue, and buy less while wearing more.

What we're building
CurateMyCloset is an AI-powered personal stylist that solves the "I have a full closet and nothing to wear" problem. Users photograph their wardrobe and the AI auto-detects, categorizes, and backgrounds every item. It then generates outfit recommendations using only what they already own — with weather-aware daily suggestions, virtual try-on previews built from a photo of the user, and occasion-based outfit planning. It helps people buy less and wear more of what they have.
Current focus
MVP is built, deployed, AI-powered, and monetized with Stripe subscriptions. Next: get real users, gather feedback, iterate.
What's built (MVP complete)
- Auth: NextAuth.js with email/password and Google OAuth
- Closet: Photo upload → GPT-4o Vision auto-detects, categorizes (type, color, season) every item. Manual add/edit/delete also supported. Free tier limited to 100 items.
